OK...now about the class. I have heard from a number of students during the past few days about a need for some flexibility during the next two weeks regarding class activities and due dates. Considering the fact that this semester seems like a never ending train wreck, I am very sensitive to these needs. So here are a few changes to the original revised plan for the class that will be implemented:
*As you know, the first part of this course is designed to orient you to a variety of important learning science concepts and support your general literacy in the area of educational psychology so you can pursue your research agenda with the knowledge of how you might begin to frame your theoretical arguments. So far the course has emphasized this basic literacy. The intentions of the final project are to have you apply basic learning science literacy to your own impending research agendas. This will still be part of the final project, but including elements of Project #3 will compel you to consider a broader spectrum of theoretical perspectives to your thinking. In the end, I think it will be more valuable.
So the overall course point values have been adjusted to reflect the reduced project load.
And don't forget that the practice items for Exam #2 are now available for you to complete. And keep in mind the important due dates for this week:
