Welcome to the last Monday of the course! I imagine you are ready for a break, and I can see that it is very much in sight.

And here's the class news for today.

Overall test-level data for Exam #3 is very positive. The mean score is ~ 86%, and the standard deviation of 10.5 indicates general consistency in performance.

An item analysis indicated no issues with any items from internal reliability or discrimination perspectives. Only one item was missed by more than half the class, and it was (of course) a multiple select question:

Ten students did not select the option about persons, behaviors, and environments interacting in reciprocal fashion. Just a reminder fromt the notes:
Constructionism is similar to many cognitive theories in that people are conscious, active participants in the promotion of their own learning. Similar to information processing models, constructivism places the locus of learning within the mind...[Constructivism also shares] similar assumptions with social cognitive theory; namely, that persons, behaviors, and environments interact in reciprocal fashion as part of the overall learning context.
I suppose some of you might have wondered if assumptions would be characterized as "characteristics", and I do hope the choice didn't throw you. In the future I will likely add "characteristics and assumptions" to the question. For this reason, I will say that if your final grade for this course can be affected by 2 points, you will get the benefit of the doubt, for sure!

I have now allowed you to go into Exam #3 and review your answers along with the correct choices. Please let me know if you have any questions about any items after you review them.

And now it's time to finish the final week by completing Project #3. I will try to grade projects as they come in (I already have a couple!). And I do want to reiterate that if you have an issue with the Wednesday deadline, please let me know.
